Prior to forming WMA Mark has delivered operational Estates & Facilities Services in the Commercial Property, Defence, Healthcare and Education sectors at Director level.

Mark is a member of the Institute of Directors and is also a Certified Member of the IWFM and is now Chair of Judges for the IWFM Awards.

Simi Gandhi-Whitaker is the Managing Director of Mitie’s Smart Workplaces business. She leads the development of new-to-market workplace solutions through Mitie’s Connected Workspace technology. Her responsibilities include overseeing Workplace Consultancy, Building Management Systems (BMS), Internet of Things (IoT) solutions leveraging AI and machine learning, as well as Design and Fitout services, delivering a comprehensive end-to-end workplace offering. She helps customers align their technology investments with workplace goals to enhance the overall Human Experience (HX). Prior to joining Mitie, Gandhi-Whitaker has worked in the real estate sector for many years with organisations such as EMCOR UK and Lend Lease, where she served in a number of senior roles leading strategic initiatives to support the growth and operational improvements of these businesses.

Dan Andrews is Executive Director at CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), UK, responsible for leading a number of Business Units across the UK that deliver services to clients.

My current favourite is Cabotte Wine Bar & Restaurant in London. Named after the small huts in Burgundy vineyards, it serves traditional French food with a modern twist, paired with Burgundy wines.”

Julian is recognised nationally for transforming services and aligning commercial outcomes with social value.

Kate has enjoyed a 30-year career working in health and safety, with 15 years’ experience in training and advising on health and safety, which she is passionate about.

Kate is a diligent, knowledgeable and inspiring trainer, who has a significant expertise across a variety of different industries. She is motivated to deliver precise and effective learning for health and safety practices in the workplace.

Kate is a certified trainer in: IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Working Safely, NEBOSH National General Certificate, Asbestos Awareness, CDM Awareness, COSHH Assessment, Display Screen Equipment, Fire Regulations, Investigating Accidents, Legionella Awareness, Lone Working, Permit to Work, Risk Assessment and Wellbeing.

Dr Lucy Hind is Senior FM Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University where she shares her wide experience of IFM, Facilities, Energy and Building Services Management. Current and previous roles have ensured that clients from blue chip companies and the public sector have obtained value for money in all aspect of property maintenance and facilities management. She is also an active member of the FMJ editorial steering committee.
