After a short early career in legal and professional publishing, in 1995 I founded Workplace Law Group, a regulatory training and consulting business specialising in health and safety, environmental management, HR and employment relations.
In July 2014 I restructured the company to create a new business, International Workplace, to widen the focus from national law to international standards, and to accelerate growth into global markets, led by the development of innovative learning technologies.
I’m a fellow of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I play an active role in the workplace management industry through voluntary roles and through my involvement with the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers.
I hold a Masters in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Society the University of Cambridge, and qualifications in human resources (CIPD) and health and safety (NEBOSH). I’m a technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH).
